Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Schreibtutor:in to join our team at the Universität Innsbruck. As a Schreibtutor:in, you will be responsible for designing and implementing didactic writing courses for students on BA and MA programmes, especially in the field of academic writing.

Your Tasks:

  • Develop and teach writing courses for students on BA and MA programmes
  • Implement the Writing Centre's services, including Writing Week, writing meetings, and course contributions

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in English or American Studies or comparable
  • Experience in writing academic texts in English
  • Additional writing didactic qualification (content and scope based on the framework concept for peer writing tutors of the Gesellschaft für Schreibdidaktik und Schreibforschung (gefsus) e. V.)
  • Fluent German and advanced language skills in English (minimum competence level C1)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, work in a structured and precise manner, and approach tasks with a high sense of responsibility
  • Enjoy working in teams and can react quickly and flexibly to changing conditions

For this position in job group IIIb, a minimum gross salary of € 888 per month (14 times) is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
