**Job Summary**
The IAEA is seeking a highly skilled Archives Associate(P1) to join its team. As an Archives Associate(P1), you will be responsible for collecting, retrieving, and analyzing large volumes of information.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collect, retrieve, and analyze large volumes of information to support the IAEA's mission.
- Develop and implement effective information management systems to ensure accurate and efficient data retrieval.
- Collaborate with project teams to design, monitor, and evaluate projects.
- Provide expert advice on project management, knowledge management, and information management.
- Develop and maintain metadata standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
**Requirements**
- A first-level degree in social sciences, data sciences, information management, or IT with a specialization in archives, records management, or a related field.
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in digital archives and metadata curation within an archives or related organization.
- Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an asset.
**Benefits**
- An attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $39,401 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance).
- A variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $22,459 *.
