Job Title: Sushi Chef

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team for a 4-month winter season. As a standalone role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality sushi dishes to our guests. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a variety of sushi dishes, including rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, to high-quality standards.
  • Manage all aspects of sushi preparation, including fish filleting, rice cooking, and mise en place.
  • Serve and interact with guests directly at the sushi bar, providing an engaging and personalized dining experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, strictly adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the hotel kitchen to ensure smooth coordination of sushi and hot dish orders for a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a similar high-quality, independent setting.
  • Proficiency in fish filleting and sushi preparation, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing the entire sushi operation independently.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Valid European passport or Permanent European residence required.
  • Excellent customer service skills for direct guest interactions.
