About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Developer to join our team at Dynatrace Austria GmbH. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for implementing changes, improvements, and new features to our Node.js Agent, working primarily in C++ and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop performance and availability monitoring solutions for Node.js applications
  • Work primarily with C++ (for native extensions) and JavaScript/TypeScript in Node.js
  • Analyze and gain an understanding of the inner workings of common frameworks through debugging and interrogation
  • Design and implement new features independently (Feature Ownership)
  • Collaborate intensively with local and international development teams
  • Stay up-to-date with and contribute to open-source projects like OpenTelemetry and Node.js
Requirements
  • Several years of C++ experience
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development with NodeJS or a willingness to learn on the job
  • Interest in deep diving into hidden corners of Node.js (Google V8 runtime) and cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Lambda, Google Functions)
  • Ability to focus on details while keeping the mind open for the whole ecosystem
  • Team player with a willingness to learn innovative technologies

Compensation and Rewards
