Job Overview

IC Resources seeks a seasoned Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge optoelectronic transceivers and sensor products for industrial and automotive applications based in Vienna.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design, with expertise in schematic and layout design using Cadence, DRC, and LVS. Proficiency in ASIC simulation and verification methods, as well as knowledge of digital block integration into Analog Mixed Signal IC Design, is essential.

About the Role

In this key position, you will develop new Analog Mixed Signal ICs from schematic through to layout, top-level chip characterization, validation, and test development. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing IC blocks, digital and analog interfaces, and DfT, as well as setting up new simulation tools or processes to enhance the simulation of Analog Mixed Signal ICs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Analog Mixed Signal ICs from schematic through to layout, top-level chip characterization, validation, and test development.
  • Implement IC blocks, digital and analog interfaces, and DfT.
  • Set up new simulation tools or processes to enhance the simulation of Analog Mixed Signal ICs.
  • Manage the full design cycle of an ASIC, including defining ASIC architecture and interfacing with fabrication, characterization, and testing.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design.
  • Expertise in schematic and layout design using Cadence, DRC, and LVS.
  • Proficiency in ASIC simulation and verification methods.
  • Solid understanding of digital block integration into Analog Mixed Signal IC Design.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant CAD tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
