Job Description

As a Senior Application Engineer for Android OS, you will be responsible for providing 2nd level software support for the Android NFC SDK package. This includes supporting the Android NFC SDK specification and managing contributions to public Android repositories.

You will also be involved in chip evaluation and demonstration SW development, as well as porting the SDK platform layer to various Android-based systems. Additionally, you will generate and review application notes, articles, and presentations, and set up technical product trainings for customers and internal staff.

As an integral part of the definition and development of future products, you will stay up-to-date regarding the latest Android versions and developments.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Computer Science and several years of industrial experience. You should have solid state-of-the-art programming skills in C, C++, and Java, as well as experience in NFC/RFID protocols, standards, and products.

You should also have experience in development for Android and Embedded Linux platforms on common SoCs, and be open to customer inputs and self-reflective and self-critical personality. Additionally, you should be willing to travel up to 10% and work independently and as part of a team.

You should have sound knowledge of English and local language(s), and be willing to share your expert know-how within the team as well as with customers.
