As a Pharmacy Technician at Southern Health-Santé Sud, you will be responsible for procuring and managing stores, preparing and compounding medications, and maintaining a safe and efficient pharmacy environment.

The ideal candidate will have a CCAPP Accredited Pharmacy Technician Certificate and be recognized as a Pharmacy Technician by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba. You will also have completion or eligibility to complete the CPhM Pharmacy Technician Structured Practical Training Program and CPhM Pharmacy Technician Jurisprudence Examination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Procuring and managing stores, including drugs, chemicals, and supplies
  • Preparing and compounding medications
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient pharmacy environment
  • Completing related clerical duties, including document management and record-keeping

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in both official languages is essential for this role.

Requirements include a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.
