Highly Skilled External Manufacturing Expert Wanted for Vaccine Production

We are seeking a highly skilled External Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Vienna. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of Clinical Trial Materials (CTM) through external partners and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs).
Key Responsibilities:- Drug Substance Process Management: Oversee the efficient scale-up and tech transfer of Drug Substance (DS) processes from lab to clinical and commercial manufacturing scales.
- Supply Chain & Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality CTM while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects, manage timelines and resources effectively, and adapt project planning according to the specific requirements of each clinical phase.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including fermentation, cell culture, purification, and analytical techniques. Experience supporting regulatory submissions (INDs, BLAs) and global regulatory filings is also essential. Additionally, you should possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and external partnerships.
