Lead Principal Engineer SiC Product Development for E-Mobility Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Principal Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented engineer to drive innovation and growth in the field of power semiconductors for high-voltage electromobility applications.
As a Lead Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and leading cross-functional teams to design and implement new products that meet the evolving needs of the automotive industry. You will represent the company's electromobility requirements in product development teams and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the development of power semiconductor products for high-voltage electromobility applications.
- Represent the company's electromobility requirements in cross-divisional product development teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define new products through requirements gathering and specification tailoring.
- Drive technical decisions and take responsibility for their implementation.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster talent development.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, preferably with a PhD. At least 10 years of technical working experience in the area of power semiconductors and automotive applications are required. Proven expertise within your fields of specialization, strong technical leadership skills, and excellent communication skills are also essential.
Additionally, you should be able to coach and challenge new ideas, actively balance risks and opportunities, and drive decisions. A large network within relevant communities, such as cooperation partners, universities, institutes, or customers, is desirable. The ability to solve complex technical problems involving expert networks is crucial.
