About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Systems and Data Management for our Magna Corporate Purchasing team.

Job Summary

As a key member of our global team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement processes. This involves implementing and standardizing professional supplier management tools and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive standardization and continuous improvement through the implementation of supplier management systems.
  • Identify business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Act as the interface between global business teams and IT experts to ensure detailed specifications, IT requirements, and smooth implementation of tools.
  • Analyze complex technical and business challenges, generate value from procurement data, and identify and resolve potential issues sustainably.
  • Lead and assist systems implementation projects across the global organization.
  • Ensure timely availability of solutions to comply with customer, governmental, and legal requirements.
  • Support the business in data management, reporting, and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of procurement processes and familiarity with standard systems used in procurement.
  • Several years of experience in Systems and Data Management, preferably in a procurement environment.
  • Proficiency in implementing and standardizing supplier management tools in a global environment.
  • Experience in defining and documenting specifications and IT requirements.

  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Structured work approach and high level of independence.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics and intelligence tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
