Job Title: Principal Use Case Designer for UWB Technology

At Infineon Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Use Case Designer for UWB Technology to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and validating innovative algorithms for exciting use cases in the field of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and validate use cases and use case-specific algorithms (e.g., Ranging, Access, Sensing) and associated concepts
  • Define requirements and develop system models, ensuring integration across higher and lower layers
  • Address IC architectural implications (e.g., DSP versus controller)
  • Evaluate and implement ML and classical Signal Processing concepts
  • Implement algorithms using Matlab, Python, C, or equivalent languages
  • Contribute to standardization efforts
Requirements:
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of solid expertise in UWB system design and architecture, demonstrating a proven track record of success
  • Sound experience in the area of UWB systems; BLE-RF is of advantage
  • Proficiency in the design of automotive applications is an asset
  • Fluency in English; German skills are a plus
