In the Service Projects and Retrofit Team at KNAPP, you will embark on a mission to shape the future of intralogistics systems. Our team travels back in time to revitalize and upgrade existing systems, making them fit for tomorrow's challenges.
- You will collaborate with our team to extend the life cycle of our systems, leveraging your expertise and creativity to drive innovation.
- As a key member of the Software Planning and Software Development departments, you will support and work closely with them to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- After a thorough analysis of existing software concepts, you will lead project preparation and ensure seamless software deployment in test environments.
- You will install, configure, and test software packages at our global customer sites, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional results.
- As a critical member of our team, you will analyze, optimize, and record developed measures, as well as train customer technicians on site to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- You will support and accompany our customers in their growth, seizing opportunities to enhance your expertise and contribute to the company's success.
Requirements and Qualifications
- You have completed an IT education and possess a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (C++, C#, or Java) and relational databases (SQL or Oracle).
- Knowledge of hardware and networks is essential, and you should be proficient in Linux.
- As a team player, you are open-minded, enjoy traveling (approximately 50%), and are fluent in German and/or English.
- You are able to complete tasks reliably, with respect to work quality and deadlines, even under pressure.
- You are skilled at recognizing potential for improvement and enjoy being at the forefront of turning this potential into creative and dynamic processes and solutions.

You will have the opportunity to be a pioneer in shaping and developing a rapidly growing and dynamic department within a worldwide leading group of companies. You will be given the freedom to contribute your experience and expertise, and will be trusted with many responsibilities. A minimum salary of EUR 2,875 gross per month applies for this position, with the possibility of a salary in line with industry standards depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive a monthly compensation for expenses of up to EUR 1,000 net, as well as allowances of up to EUR 1,000 gross, depending on the amount of travel.
