Proposal Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY AUSTRIA AG. As a key member of our Proposals team, you will play a vital role in helping us win new business and retain existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate tender documentation to identify key requirements, deliverables, deadlines, and actions, and provide feedback to stakeholders while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Ensure all stakeholders have access to bid documents and coordinate calls with different stakeholders, logging and assigning actions.
• Coordinate and edit bid input from various stakeholders, ensuring adherence to established processes and branding guidelines.
• Coordinate proposal responses, ensuring all necessary product, services, and pricing information is included, while ensuring on-time submission.
• Monitor and mitigate risk throughout the bid process using established risk management tools.
• Support the Proposals Manager and Proposals Specialist in complex bids.
• Help update and maintain our tender content-management system.

Requirements

• At least two years' experience in a similar role, ideally with experience of working on software-related tenders.
• Previous proven remote-working experience while independently managing different virtual teams.
• Impeccable written German and English skills, including the ability to review and edit technical content.
• Strong communication skills to influence and challenge bid team members and facilitate negotiations with internal stakeholders.
• High proficiency in tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
• Strong process, organization, and coordination skills, with the ability to multi-task on several bids as required.
• An easy-going yet professional manner, calm under pressure, and a well-developed awareness of working effectively in a virtual team.
• Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and flexibility to work in a global team.

For this position, a minimum basic salary according to CBA (employees in the electrical industry) from 3811.93 € gross per month applies. Depending on your qualifications and experience, there is readiness for CBA overpayment.
