Job Description

As a Senior Eyewear Product Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development process of optical glasses and sunglasses for MPG GmbH. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards while staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product concepts and designs
  • Lead the design and development process from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Work closely with suppliers and partners to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the eyewear industry
  • Excellent design skills, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of color theory and trend analysis
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in design software, including Rhino 3D, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Illustrator
