Power Plant Bid Manager

About the Role
As a Bid Manager at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of proposals for EPC/Extended Scope Power Plant projects. Your expertise will be essential in negotiating with customers to form and sign contracts that meet business objectives, including budget, quality, safety, performance, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with a team of engineers and experts to generate technical bids for power plants using Siemens Energy medium-sized gas turbines.
- Develop a bid strategy, timeline, scope, and costs.
- Collaborate with different entities within Siemens Energy to obtain system design, component inputs, and costs.
- Compile project costing and perform risk and opportunity analysis.
- Negotiate with various stakeholders, including customers, to achieve the most optimal contract and technical conditions.
- Report bid status to management and obtain approval for the bid in LoA meetings.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, I&C, or Civil Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in Power Plant Execution (Electrical, Mechanical, I&C, or Civil).
- Experience in sales and proposal works.
- Excellent communication skills and language proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel on short notice.
