Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, driving requirement discussions and defining concepts for HSIO IP development.
  • Offer expert consulting services to customers on standard and circuital solutions based on their needs.
  • Represent the company in various standardization bodies, covering automotive to die-to-die applications.
  • Make initial architectural choices based on requirements.
  • Coordinate power integrity/signal integrity analysis.
  • Provide integration guidelines and support to customers.
  • Ensure seamless integration of 3rd party IPs in bigger SoCs.
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering (MSc or PhD) or equivalent, plus 10+ years of experience in high-speed wireline architecture or high-speed wireline design.
  • Solid understanding of basic high speed wireline concepts, including voltage/current mode drivers, clock-and-data recovery, FFE, DFE, CTLE, adaptive algorithms, and sampler sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in wireline clocking concepts and familiarity with jitter and phase noise specifications.
  • Experience with timing and voltage budgeting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to support and mentor younger colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

  • Fluency in German.
  • Proficiency in Simulink/Matlab.
  • Solid networking in standardization bodies.
