The position of Key Accounts Purchaser for EMS Services & Embedded Solutions is a great opportunity to contribute to the company’s success and take your next career step.

As a member of our global team, you will be responsible for ensuring cost optimization for main product groups/categories. This includes taking into account total costs of ownership, turnover rates, and delivery performance.

You will also be expected to carry out professional supplier management, which involves searching, selecting, classifying, further developing, implementing, and risk assessment.

In addition, you will proactively observe and analyze the market as well as escalate when necessary.

You will work closely with R&D and the procurement market to evaluate new technologies and products.

Your responsibilities will also include leading complex contract negotiations and managing contracts professionally.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for risk and strategy management for the main product groups/categories.

You will have to analyze data, control, and report on various aspects of your work.

This role requires collaboration with global ABB category teams for electronic components.

We are looking for candidates who have completed commercial and technical training, such as industrial engineering.

A minimum of several years of relevant professional experience in international purchasing is required.

Moderate market knowledge and experience in the field of embedded Products or EMS Services would be beneficial.

Candidates should be confident in handling MS Office applications and have experience with SAP module MM as an advantage.

Knowledge of German and English is essential, and a diplomatic and assertive personality with strong negotiating skills is highly valued.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $51,215 per month, based on Austrian standards and considering the level of responsibility and expertise required.
