About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Dynatrace, a leading provider of software intelligence solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in implementing changes, improvements, and new features to our OneAgent software.

Your primary focus will be on developing performance and availability monitoring solutions for complex applications, working primarily with C++ and TypeScript. You will analyze and gain a deep understanding of the inner workings of common frameworks through debugging and interrogation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new features, taking ownership of specific components of the OneAgent software.
  • Collaborate with local and international development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and contribute to open-source projects like OpenTelemetry.
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of complex applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in C++ development, with a strong understanding of software performance and availability monitoring.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and optimize complex software systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
