Actuarial Risk Manager

At Aon, we're seeking an Actuarial Risk Manager to join our team in Vienna, Austria. This role is perfect for those looking to start their career or take the next step in their actuarial journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with colleagues to identify and respond to client needs and develop additional opportunities related to products and services
  • Perform technical analysis and gain innovative insights into insurance companies, their portfolios, and reinsurance contracts
  • Inventory and manage client and industry data to further develop market studies and internal tools
  • Analyse the costs and benefits of risk transferred under reinsurance agreements via pricing analysis and dynamic risk modelling
  • Assist in preparing client-ready presentations to communicate analysis results to brokers and clients

Requirements:

  • University degree in actuarial sciences on master's level
  • Fluency in German
  • Proficient knowledge of English
  • Proactive and result-oriented working style
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems, think creatively and analytically
  • Being able to learn quickly and find new solutions
  • Team player mentality, while building up constructive and effective working relationships
  • Good computer skills (MS Office) are required, programming skills (R, VBA, Phyton, etc.) are an advantage
  • Knowledge of Solvency II is an advantage
