Als Inhouse Legal Counsel bei American Express bist du Teil eines globalen und vielfältigen Teams, das sich auf die Stärkung unserer Kunden und die Förderung von Führungskräften konzentriert. Du wirst die rechtlichen Aspekte unseres Geschäfts in Österreich und Deutschland beraten und unterstützen, um sicherzustellen, dass wir unsere Ziele erreichen und unsere Kunden zufriedenstellen.

Hauptaufgaben

  • Rechtliche Beratung und Unterstützung für unsere Geschäftsbereiche in Österreich und Deutschland
  • Prüfung, Gestaltung und Verhandlung von Verträgen und AGB
  • Bearbeitung von Beschwerden und außergerichtlichen Rechtsstreitigkeiten
  • Beobachtung der Gesetzgebung und Rechtsprechung und Koordination von Anpassungen von internen Standards und Prozessen
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Governance Affairs zur Wahrnehmung der Interessen von American Express in Rechtssetzungsprozessen

Anforderungen

  • Abschluss als Jurist (Mag. iur.) mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrung von min. 3 Jahren im internationalen Umfeld oder in einer US-Unternehmensgruppe
  • Ausgezeichnete Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
  • Vertiefte Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen in den nachfolgend genannten Rechtsbereichen: Zahlungsdiensterecht, Konsumentenschutzrecht, Datenschutzrecht, Finanzmarkt-Geldwäschegesetz, Wettbewerbsrechts, E-Commerce-Recht, Handels- und Vertragsrecht
  • Strukturierte, analytische, selbständige Arbeitsweise und Fähigkeit, Arbeitsergebnisse überzeugend zu kommunizieren
  • Affinität zu digitalen Fragestellungen und Prozessen und ein gutes wirtschaftliches Verständnis
  • Interesse, sich in neue Themen- und Verantwortungsbereiche einzuarbeiten
  • Souveränes Auftreten
