Shopstory GmbH is a young and dynamic SaaS scale-up that develops an AI-based software for SME online shops. Our mission is to automate and optimize their online marketing activities.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our team in Vienna, Austria. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with our CTO Robert and product management to develop moderately sized features and improvements to our product.

You will be responsible for turning rough concepts and ideas into implemented interfaces, taking UI & UX fundamentals into account. Your tasks will include crafting code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices, as well as recognizing technical debt and implementing solutions.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also provide mentorship for junior engineers on your team and collaborate with stakeholders outside of the engineering team to communicate technical concepts effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience with elements of our tech stack, including TypeScript, React or NextJS, Vitest, Playwright, and Git.
  • Ability to turn rough concepts and ideas into implemented interfaces, taking UI & UX fundamentals into account.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote-friendly and multinational work environment.
  • Experience in owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
  • Self-motivation and self-management, with excellent organizational skills and a positive solution-oriented mindset.
