We are seeking an exceptional Site Reliability Engineering Lead to join our team at Raiffeisen Group IT GmbH.



Your Mission:




  • Mentor junior engineers in design techniques and coding standards, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
  • Design and implement secure architectures, integrating security into automated workflows and platforms development, ensuring the highest levels of system reliability.
  • Drive technical improvements within the platform domain, identifying opportunities for innovation and process enhancements.
  • Serve as the technical lead in designing and developing our self-service platform, leveraging expertise in DevOps processes and toolsets.
  • Enable observability across systems and services, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive quality.
  • Prioritize quality throughout the product development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy, safeguarding business continuity and minimizing downtime.


Your Key Qualifications:




  • A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent understanding of DevOps processes and toolsets, including continuous delivery (CD) and infrastructure as a service (IaC).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX system architecture, containers, and container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and logging technologies, such as Prometheus, Datadog, and Grafana.
