Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team in Berlin. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the implementation of new features and improvements to our platform. You will work closely with product management to build complex and high-scalable technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the reliability and state-of-the-art quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality APIs and backend systems
  • Collaborate with product management to drive the implementation of new features and improvements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to build complex and high-scalable technical solutions

  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to drive technical excellence
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in software development with Java, Python, HTML, or JavaScript
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex software
  • 2+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs and Spring
  • Enterprise development experience in a project-based environment with exposure to multiple clients
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyze issues from multiple angles and find innovative solutions
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and concerns
  • Ability to adjust to new challenges and technologies swiftly
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • English language proficiency (min. C1)
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with Mateo and MSG Nexinsure Connector
  • Experience with caching and queuing technologies (Redis, Rabbit)
