Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Service Team, your role will encompass the installation, maintenance, and technical support of our instrumentation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gaining familiarity with specific instruments prior to installation through provided documentation and/or participation in factory testing.
  • Collaborating with customers and colleagues during the site planning phase before installation.
  • Inspecting, installing, setting up, testing, and ensuring systems and accessories meet specifications at customer locations, along with delivering basic operator training.
  • Conducting both breakdown and planned maintenance at customer sites as part of a team, ensuring rapid response when necessary.
  • Offering technical support and assistance to customers and colleagues, either directly or through remote diagnostics.
  • Executing procedures necessary to validate systems to certifiable standards.
  • Providing technical insights to the sales team for non-routine sales cases.
  • Traveling within the DACH region and occasionally internationally is an essential aspect of the role.

Your activities will encompass all products manufactured or represented by the company. Specialization in specific products or technologies may be an additional responsibility, leveraging your acquired skills and experience. Accurate record-keeping and timely documentation submission are essential.

  • Capability to oversee the complete installation and commissioning of sophisticated instruments and instruct users in their basic operation.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing malfunctions and actively resolving service issues for customers.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with data system hardware and industry-standard operating systems.
  • Fluency in German is required.
