Our Team

The Credit Portfolio Steering department is a dynamic team responsible for monitoring the development of the overall loan portfolio of Erste Group Bank AG. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the operative implementation of the Group credit risk strategies through active steering and the development of a robust credit risk data infrastructure.

Your Tasks

  • Coordinate all IT topics related to our DataMarts with Erste Digital and other data users.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Crisp Agile Team, coordinating and processing requirements, sprints, and prioritization.
  • Prepare the analytical data framework for internal, regulatory, and management needs.
  • Build up our reporting data visualization capabilities, with a focus on group-wide implementation.
  • Continuously improve our portfolio steering function.

Your Background

  • You are a logical thinker with a passion for solving complex problems.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and errors in data to support decision-making processes.
  • You have proficiency in SQL and SAS to query, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • You have good knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting for data manipulation, visualization, and reporting.
  • A background in data science, IT, mathematics, or a similar field is preferred, with a strong interest and preferably experience in banking and credit risk.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • You are fluent in English and German.
