Are you passionate about technology and eager to enhance your expertise in application validation? Infineon Technologies is seeking a Product Validation Engineer to strengthen our team within the Power Sensors & Systems Division. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct measurements on Infineon components utilized in motor drives, battery protection, and DCDC Power Conversion Applications, including DCDC Buck Converters and Brick Converters for Telecom.
  • Execute tests on cutting-edge devices using specially designed boards to facilitate the development and enhancement of innovative technologies.
  • Perform competitor analysis, organize and interpret data, and produce comprehensive test reports.
  • Provide technical support to the product definition engineering team, validating product value propositions in customer systems throughout development projects.
  • Participate in peer reviews of internal development documentation.
  • Design new application test setups, including the creation of application test boards and automation of testing processes.
  • Assist Product Application Engineering in drafting application notes and layout & board design.

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
  • 1-3 years of relevant hands-on experience in an electrical engineering laboratory, including proficiency with lab equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductors, particularly Power MOSFETs.
  • Experience in analyzing measurement data and presenting findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also guiding team members.
  • Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, and PCB Design (Allegro, Altium Designer).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Capability to provide regular, concise project updates to team members and management.
  • Fluency in English, with basic German skills being an advantage.
