Strategic Procurement Manager for Aluminium and Die Casting

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Magna Corporate Procurement Europe team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the commodity strategy for Aluminium / Die Casting.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement and sourcing within the automotive industry, with specific experience in Aluminium / Die Casting commodities. They should also possess excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with a focus on driving cost reduction and supplier performance improvement.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the commodity strategy for Aluminium / Die Casting in alignment with company objectives
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements
  • Evaluate offers, negotiate contracts, and present results to stakeholders
  • Lead negotiations, contracting processes, and supplier relationships for Aluminium / Die Casting commodities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve synergies and optimal outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement and sourcing within the automotive industry
  • Strong expertise in commodities strategy definition and implementation

Pay Scale: The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
