Electro-Acoustic Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electro-Acoustic Systems Engineer to join our team at MED-EL.

About the Job

This position involves the development of acoustic sensors for new hearing implant systems up to series production readiness. Key responsibilities include electroacoustic measurement and verification of components and subassemblies, including calculation, simulation, and measurements of development prototypes. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for coordinating technical details within the development team, with other departments as well as with suppliers and service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop acoustic sensors for new hearing implant systems up to series production readiness

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of acoustics, electroacoustics, medical technology, electronics, communications engineering, or a comparable field of study. Experience in the development of microphones is highly desirable, as is basic knowledge of signal processing for active noise cancellation. Self-responsibility, systematic, and independent work, as well as the ability to work in a team, are essential skills for this position. Additionally, you should possess good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual gross salary for this position is €48,760.78, based on professional qualification and experience. This figure is subject to change and may be adjusted according to individual circumstances. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
