Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our team in Vienna. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and performance of our entire IT infrastructure within PACS on WEB and other backend infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Constantly improving and optimizing our existing and new infrastructure
  • Designing and supporting cloud infrastructure
  • Configuring and monitoring backup and recovery
  • Designing and deploying new applications and making improvements to existing applications
  • Closely monitoring the daily management of the server park
  • Researching new technologies and advising them when they contribute to an improvement of an existing or new platform

Requirements:

  • A master's, bachelor's or equivalent degree in ICT and/or informatics
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Previous Service Transition and Service Design knowledge of importance, but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of healthcare and medical imaging and communication standards like HL7, DICOM etc.
  • Knowledge of workflow within a hospital/clinical environment or experience within the healthcare sector is a plus
  • PACS / RIS System experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus
  • Excellent training and presentation abilities
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Good understanding of and practice with virtualization solutions
  • Good understanding of (Linux) operating systems and computer networks
  • Knowledge about containerization of applications and orchestration is an asset
