Risk Management Intern

As a Risk Management Intern at Erste Group, you will play a key role in supporting the Stress Testing and Risk Planning unit. This team is responsible for forward-looking estimations of key risk indicators and analysis of actual developments. Your tasks will include actively supporting and enabling a sound planning process for key risk indicators, supporting critical assessment of interpretation of planning and stress testing assumptions and results, and participating in macroeconomic overlay model development and performing back-tests of the results.
Requirements:
Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a focus in (quantitative) finance, banking, mathematics, physics, statistics or economics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German skills are a strong advantage. Analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as problem solution approach and eagerness to learn. MS Office knowledge – especially Excel – active use, or willingness to actively learn; programming knowledge (SAS, R, SQL) is an advantage.
What We Offer:
An exciting and challenging full-time (38.5h/week for 6 months) or part-time internship (19.25h/week for 12 months) as of January 2025. Support of your professional and personal development in a dynamic, comprehensive and interesting area. We guarantee an internship allowance of minimum EUR 2.821,46 gross per month on a full-time basis (except obligatory internships) and benefits of Erste Group.
