Job Title: Product Owner - MES Implementation

As a Product Owner - MES Implementation, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) globally. This includes collaborating with cross-functional departments, plants, and external partners to drive process improvements and optimize production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project manage MES-related process implementations, solutions, and functions
  • Analyze business requirements, propose technical concepts, and validate technical feasibility
  • Coordinate and implement MES Template functions in plants
  • Conduct process analysis and optimization in coordination with departments
  • Act as the interface between production, automation technology, IT, and external partners
  • Participate in functional and integration testing/GoLive preparations of MES services, processes, and functions
  • Support training activities with functional Keyusers
  • Coordinate and support with the current MES provider
  • Enhance the MES template functions in a continuous improvement process
  • Define and manage authorizations concepts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields (preferably in Automotive Manufacturing industry)
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript is a plus
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure (Server, Network)
  • Experience with MES standards & templates preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong communication (English & German) and analytical skills, problem-solving & interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to business travel globally (30%)

In addition, commitment and qualification are valued by us: we pay more than we have to. For this position, you get a salary starting from € 51,000 gross per year (basis: 38.5 hours per week). Overpayment is possible according to your experience and educational background.
