Join AVL as a Project Controller with IT Affinity

AVL List GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Project Controller with IT affinity to join our team in Austria. As a key member of our global project management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the implementation of international projects and contributing your valuable ideas and expertise.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial support to project managers to ensure the economic success of global customer projects
  • Coordinate ongoing projects with technical project managers, detecting and proactively communicating deviations in time, cost, and cash flow
  • Monitor and support project costs, assessing risks in the global project system
  • Support claim management and collaborate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to UGB and IFRS
  • Contribute to the further development of the global project system, including key figures, digitalization, and BI
Your Profile:
  • Completed education in economics or technical economics from a University of Applied Sciences or University
  • At least two years of professional experience in a controlling environment
  • Knowledge of SAP, MS Office (especially Excel), and Power-BI is an advantage
  • Good project management and communication skills, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%) and excellent knowledge of German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €51,550.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
