About the Role

As a Staff Accountant at Sentry, you'll be part of our Accounting & Finance team, which plays a critical role in financial reporting, business operations, and decision-making. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across departments, maintain accurate financial reporting, and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual activities within the Accounting team, including accounting policy compliance, preparation of local financial statements, and associated tax matters.
• Manage posting monthly journal entries to meet close deadlines, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and monthly flux analysis.
• Be responsible for local statutory accounts and the audit thereof, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with local accounting requirements.
• Continuously seek process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of Local GAAP; familiarity with US GAAP.
• Fluent in English; fluency in German is a plus.
• Experience with Netsuite preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
