At Erste Group Bank AG, we're seeking a skilled Reporting Specialist to join our team in Wien. This is a part-time or full-time position with a minimum of 25 hours per week.

The role is part of our Group Accounting division, where you'll be responsible for preparing IFRS Consolidated Financial Statements, FINREP, and CSRD reporting. You'll work closely with the Consolidation team to ensure the accuracy of IT consolidation tools from an accounting perspective.

We're looking for someone with knowledge of IFRS accounting and consolidation topics, preferably with working experience in banking. Your university degree in business administration, data, IT, or a related field will serve as a solid foundation for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • SUPPORTING THE AVAILABILITY OF REPORTING TOOLS FOR MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND YEARLY REPORTING
  • ANALYZING AND ANSWERING REPORTING-RELATED QUESTIONS FROM ALL STAKEHOLDERS IN THE GROUP
  • ACTIONING AS A CONTACT PERSON TO SUBSIDIARIES FOR ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING TOPICS
  • PREPARING CONSOLIDATION POSTINGS AND VALIDATING REPORTING TABLES
  • PARTICIPATING IN PROJECT WORK TO FURTHER DEVELOP REPORTING TOOLS (DEFINE BUSINESS SPECIFICATIONS, TESTING OF NEW ROUTINES, DEFINE DATA FIELDS FROM THE BUSINESS SIDE ETC)
  • UNDERSTANDING AND ANALYZING THE IFRS RESULTS OF OUR SUBSIDIARIES

This role is ideal for those who enjoy optimizing and automating process calculations and feel confident in an English-speaking environment. Knowledge of MS Office applications and additional IT tools like MySQL or Oracle are welcome but not required. If you have a CE mother tongue or German language skills, that's a plus
