About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled I&C Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy Austria GmbH. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for the successful commissioning of our Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems in various global projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning of I&C systems, including gas and steam power plants, and energy storage systems
  • Performance of tests and inspections on protection and control systems, as well as optimization and troubleshooting of control systems
  • Commissioning of block control systems with the Siemens Energy DCS system OMNIVISE T3000

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Electronics, Robotics, or Control Engineering, or equivalent experience in a similar field
  • Knowledge of measurement and control technology in the power plant sector, as well as knowledge of DCS systems (preferably Siemens Energy automation technology)
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent business English, additional language skills are an asset
  • High willingness to travel and work abroad, worldwide, continuously, and for several months
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)

At Siemens Energy, we offer a competitive remuneration and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualifications. Due to Austrian statutory regulations, we are required to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that a clear willingness to accept a higher salary, taking into account your individual expectations, expertise, and skills, exists. The minimum annual gross salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry, employees is € 60,000 for a full-time position (38.5 hours/week).
