High-Power Vehicle Charging System Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at AVL List GmbH. As a Simulation and Optimization Expert for High-Power Charging Systems, you will play a crucial role in the development of efficient and reliable electric vehicle charging systems.
Responsibilities:
Simulation and analysis of high-power vehicle charging systems, including the vehicle, charging station, and grid.
Optimization of the charging system to ensure it meets the needs of EV users while minimizing the impact on the grid.
Investigation of different converter technologies and grid models.
Setup of a model of the high voltage system with all relevant components.
Running the simulation with different parameters of the relevant system components.
Documentation and interpretation of the results of the different simulation runs.
Comparison of the simulation results with available measurements of the existing system.
Requirements:
Ongoing studies in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.
Basic knowledge of simulation and circuit simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, LTspice).
Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits.
Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills.
Goal-oriented working style.
Good language skills in English necessary and in German beneficial.
