Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments, code review, and application security
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, software development, and MVC/MVT frameworks (e.g., Angular, Django)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 security risks and remediation techniques
- Understanding of network protocols, security principles, and containerization (Docker, OpenShift)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
