Job Description:

At Erste Digital, we're seeking a highly skilled Head of Platform and Automation Services to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure & Cloud division, you'll be responsible for leading our platform and automation services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality infrastructure services to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of DevOps professionals in managing our middleware services, including web and app servers, and providing necessary tools and deployment mechanisms to our application teams.
  • Collaborate with our Cloud engineering team to operate the Google Cloud Platform foundation for Erste Group and support application projects on their cloud journey.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions to support our datacenter network team, including monitoring and system integrations into our ITSM tooling.
  • Manage central test environments and test centers for Factory Acceptance Tests of our banking applications.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and DevOps teams, preferably in a hybrid or cloud-native environment.
  • Strong proficiency in IT service management, with a deep understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience in preparing and managing budgets, as well as forecasting and accounting processes.
  • Ability to foster agile principles and help teams grow and succeed in a volatile and complex environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive and productive collaborations within the team and across the company.
