The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position of:

Sommelier - Pastamara

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising guests on wine selection
  • Wine and beverage service
  • Maintenance of the wine list
  • Maintenance of the wine cellar
  • Conducting inventories, internal wine tastings and trainings
  • Control and responsibility of the Beverage Cost
  • Collaboration with our award-winning Sommelier of the Year

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Professional experience in the upscale hotel industry
  • Lover of Italian culture with an energetic and charming character
  • Very well-founded knowledge of wine
  • Fluent knowledge of German and English (Italian advantageous)
  • High team skills and experience in a leading position
  • A friendly, well-kept and professional appearance
  • High operational readiness and resilience
