In this role, you will:
- Conduct measurements on Infineon components used in various applications such as motor drives, battery protection, and DCDC power conversion.
- Execute tests on advanced devices utilizing specially designed boards to aid in the development and refinement of innovative technologies.
- Perform competitor analysis, organize and interpret data, and produce comprehensive test reports.
- Provide technical support to the product definition engineering team, validating product value propositions in customer systems during development.
- Participate in peer reviews of internal development documentation.
- Design and implement new application test setups, including automation for testing processes.
- Assist Product Application Engineering in drafting application notes and in layout and board design.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant hands-on experience in an electrical engineering laboratory setting, including proficiency with lab equipment.
- Strong understanding of semiconductors, particularly Power MOSFETs.
- Experience in analyzing measurement data and effectively presenting results to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously while also providing guidance to team members.
- Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, and PCB design tools (Allegro, Altium Designer).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with basic German being a plus.
