Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Lecturer to join our team at the Department of Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the field of lightweight structures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Develop and deliver courses and workshops in lightweight structures, with a focus on research-led teaching.
  • Research: Conduct research in lightweight structures, collaborate on research projects, and publish papers in relevant journals.
  • Administration: Manage organizational and administrative tasks in the lightweight structures unit, participate in training and further education, and engage in scientifically relevant events.
Requirements
  • Completed graduate or master's degree in architecture and/or engineering and/or related disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural design, particularly in the context of structural conception, and a strong understanding of geometry and sustainable materialization.
  • Creativity, innovative thinking, and strong interest in multidisciplinary teaching and research topics and methodology.
  • Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
