Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work on the cutting-edge Grail storage permission system and query API.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to our high load, high availability, and high resiliency permission service.
  • Designing and implementing features in Java 17/21.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborating with product architects and cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues, fostering an approachable and supportive environment.
  • Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the team's service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend/core development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative and motivational personality with a proactive approach.
  • Passion for service resiliency and performance.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes and Spring experience is beneficial.
