Key Responsibilities
- Performance is essential to our success - investigate various strategies to optimize our product for peak performance.
- As a vital member of the Cluster Performance Engineering Team, you will concentrate on performance assessment and enhancements of the Dynatrace Platform, pinpointing bottlenecks and collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
- You will contribute to non-functional requirements, enhancing the scalability and resilience of the Dynatrace Platform.
- You will ensure comprehensive end-to-end performance testing coverage.
- Collaborate with our Site Reliability Engineering colleagues on thorough analysis of production issues and continuously refine our automation framework for performance and load testing.
Qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Java backend development and Linux system engineering with a cloud-native approach.
- Familiarity with some of the following technologies is advantageous: Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, Gatling, Jenkins.
- Basic understanding of load testing, performance diagnostics, and Java profiling is a plus. Ideally, you are knowledgeable about object churn and heap dump analysis.
- A strong enthusiasm for performance optimization.

Compensation and Benefits

- We are required to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 45,500 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 hours/week). We offer a higher salary based on qualifications and experience.
