We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Vienna Insurance Group. As a key member of our Finance and Regulatory Reporting department, you will be responsible for further developing and refining our SAP BW-based reporting solutions to meet changing business requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities- Customise and maintain our established database solutions in collaboration with our internal IT department.
- Develop and implement new methods and tools to optimise existing and new reporting solutions and future financial processes.
- Create detailed dashboards and applications for application-specific business requirements.
- Future-proof our toolbox by proactively identifying improvements and establishing new technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments within VIG to optimise processes and ensure effective use of data.
To be successful in this role, you will require a university degree in data science, economics, finance, mathematics or a similar field. You should have mastery of analytical software such as R, Power BI, SAC or similar tools, as well as experience with programming (R, VBA, Python, Bash, etc.) and database solutions (SAP, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.). Strong analytical skills, problem-solving orientation, good communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential.
