Executive Director

AC2T research GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Managing Director. As the Austrian Excellence Centre for Tribology, we are a leading R&D service provider in the field of Tribology, with a strong focus on friction, wear, and lubricants.

The successful candidate will have a technical or scientific academic degree related to Tribology, with a qualification according to NQF VII / EQF 7 or higher. They will also have several years of management responsibility in an R&D-oriented sector, with a strong understanding of contract drafting.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading research groups and managing R&D projects, with a strong focus on customer affinity and contract acquisition. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a team and lead the Centre into the future.

We offer a permanent contract with a minimum salary of €110,000 per year, with the potential for a performance bonus and company car. The successful candidate will be based in Wiener Neustadt and will start within 9 months.
