At ALPLA Werke Alwin Lehner GmbH & Co KG, we are seeking a highly motivated Operational Excellence Lead to join our team in Steinabrückl, Austria.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the rollout of our Operational Excellence Program (NEXT) in the region, including:

  • Implementation of new management tools and standards
  • Preparation and tracking of improvement projects
  • Preparation and moderation of OPEX assessment

In addition, the candidate will support budgeting on regional and plant levels, covering KPI planning, capacity, resource planning, and investment planning. The role also involves executing trainings and workshops on lean manufacturing, operational controlling, and collaboration and communication.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A university degree in engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid technical foundation.
  • Over 5 years of experience in continuous improvement within lean manufacturing.
  • Strong background in supply chain management, including logistics, production planning, order management, or master data management.
  • Project management and leadership skills to drive initiatives and lead teams effectively.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative individual who thrives in a cooperative environment.
  • Proficient in English and Czech, with German being an advantage.
  • A willingness to travel approximately 50% of working time.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is based on professional qualifications and experience, ranging from €60,000 to €80,000 per annum, depending on the level of expertise and industry standards in the region.
