The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for image processing and geospatial data management using Python, JavaScript in the ArcGIS/ESRI environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions for image processing and geospatial data management using Python, JavaScript in the ArcGIS/ESRI environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including image and geospatial analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software products.
- Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and other quality assurance activities to ensure that software meets high standards of quality and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of software development, and share that knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 10 years of IT experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Python and JavaScript development.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS SDK, the ESRI environment, PowerShell programming, Jira will be an added asset.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems.
- Excellent command of the English language.
