About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Maintenance Technician to join our team at Otis College of Art and Design. As an Elevator Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and replacing worn-out components
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall system performance
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in elevator maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
