Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development and refactoring of our existing software solutions. Main Responsibilities:- Design and develop efficient backend services utilizing Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Participate in the modernization and migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to existing services.
- Implement service-based architecture with distributed services and RESTful APIs, leveraging hexagonal (Ports and Adapters) / layered architectures for maintainability and testability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements, prioritizing quality and scalability.
You will also be responsible for optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, including the use of caching systems like Apache Ignite and Redis. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should possess:
- At least 3 years of experience in Java backend development.
- A strong understanding of Java frameworks and their application in real-world scenarios.
- Experience with microservices architecture, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and excellent problem-solving skills.
Aplus qualifications include:
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular) and API management tools and frameworks (Swagger, API Gateway).
- Knowledge of messaging systems and event-driven architecture, as well as cloud platforms (e.g., MS Azure) and their services.
- Understanding of security best practices in application development.
