Job Overview

Frequentis Group, a leading provider of communication and information systems for control centers, is seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer to join their Air Traffic Management Tower Solutions Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical specification, setup, integration, and acceptance of systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical specification, setup, integration, and acceptance of systems at customer sites
  • Technical contact person for customers within projects
  • Configuration and commissioning of IT and network components in a security-critical environment
  • Clarification of technical feasibility, co-design of system architecture, and optimization of systems under cost-benefit aspects
  • Coordination of internal and external suppliers
  • Acceptance tests with customers, project team, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • First relevant professional experience as a system engineer or system administrator
  • Technical background with focus on IT
  • Good Linux knowledge and practical experience
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% internationally
  • Very good English skills mandatory
  • Linux certifications are an advantage
  • Enjoy working with customers
  • First experience with networks and protocol knowledge
